Fundraising Events

  • Movie Nights - a free Movie Night is held on the school oval with the aim of bringing the school community together in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Food and drinks are available for purchase and families are invited to bring a picnic rug to enjoy the show. Parent volunteers are needed to help on the BBQ and bar. Co-ordinator to be advised. Please email pandcsecretary@indoorooss.eq.edu.au if you are interested.

  • Mega-Raffle  - each year, the Indigo committee pulls out all stops to offer an amazing collection of prizes through our Art Union Mega-Raffle, which is drawn at Indigo Fair. Raffle tickets are sent home with each student and prizes are awarded for the most tickets sold by a family and for the first class to return all ticket books. A parent co-ordinator will be required for 2016. Please email pandcsecretary@indoorooss.eq.edu.au if you are interested.

  • Magical Trivia Day  - the P&C hosts this special day in our school hall, with the highlight being a special magic show. During the course of the day, all classes visit the hall to be challenged by a fun trivia quiz. In the weeks prior, students are invited to seek sponsorship from family and friends for each correct answer, with funds collected in the following weeks (just quietly, students are also given the list of questions and answers the week prior so they can brush up on their general knowledge). Parent volunteers are needed to mark answer sheets on the day. Please email Meredith Gray (meredith@wildfiresports.com.au) if you are able to help.

  • Swimathon - the PE teacher and parent volunteers run the Swimathon for all year levels during their regular PE classes this week. It's a fun, no-pressure event where students can swim a maximum of 20 widths or lengths of the pool (depending on year level) using flippers or flotation devices if they wish. In the weeks prior, students are invited to seek sponsorship from family and friends, with funds collected in the following weeks. Parent volunteers are needed to count laps this week. Please email Alex Wallace (acburksta@yahoo.com.au) if you are able to help. Please note: as Prep students will have only started swimming in Term 4, they may participate in scheduled activities other than swimming as determined by the PE teacher.
